 Misr Gulf Shipping & Offshore Company was established in Egypt in 1976 and is one of the oldest and most respected firms in the Egyptian Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. The first Egyptian company of its kind to engage in abroad range of offshore activities in Egyptian waters and oilfields, Misr Gulf continues to demonstrate efficient operations in accomplishing its objectives.
 Misr Gulf is proud of its long-standing reputation in the region, covering the two major areas of the Mediterranean and Red Sea’s and Gulf of Suez via the employment of Egyptian vessels and crew.

Our comprehensive miscellanies of offshore business and financial services have been made available by virtue of the Prime Minister’s Decree No. 606/76 - authorized thereafter to engage in the following activities regarding vessels and their associated services.
Purchase, sell, lease, operate, mortgage, own, build, repair and maintain vessels that exploit the necessary equipment for drilling and extraction of oil at sea; anti-pollution crafts, tugs, divers’ tenders and salvage. Cranes and marine crafts are also employed to serve the company’s functional purposes; transportation of maritime gaseous servings to and from Egypt and overseas - including dry and liquid bulk.
Misr Gulf engages in all marine and port construction operations. The extension and laying of oil pipes and all pertinent services required by the oil and shipping companies are supplied by Misr Gulf. Activities relating to marine transportation comprise general and bulk cargo, towing, salvage operations, and petroleum research in accordance with existing requisite laws.
Misr Gulf observes the handling of cargoes at ports, the loading discharge and transportation of the said cargo by both land and canals - all in the framework of the enforceable laws & regulations.
We moreover facilitate vessels demands, whether at sea, ports and / or quays - including the usual and/or urgent services, regulated by the working laws and decrees.
